What to do
As you rise, say ‘Samiʿa Llāhu liman ḥamidah’. Once standing fully, say ‘Rabbanā wa laka l-ḥamd’. Stand still for a moment before going down.
سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ · رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Transliteration
Samiʿa Llāhu liman ḥamidah · Rabbanā wa laka l-ḥamd
Meaning
Allah hears those who praise Him · Our Lord, all praise is for You.
